Inside Value Adjustments Boards

In 1995, property appraisers composed a document designed to pre-determine the outcome of appeals. It was rejected by Governor and Cabinet. In 1999, state employees incorporated the 1995 content into another document, which has been used in whole or in part by VABs.

Department of Revenue staff has been instructed to conduct workshops, in 2008, to develop model Value Adjustment Board procedures.
