Email 6 - we note there are meetings between the VAB attorney, the County Attorney, and the Clerk's staff, BUT no meetings with agents or taxpayers! Is the Clerk and the Clerk's counsel aware of these meetings, and whether they are in compliance with state law?

Email 7 - CPS notes the VAB attorney has not produced anything in writing from DOR, let alone the name of the counsel who "discussed the agent petition filing issue ... last year" and there is correspondence in CPS possession indicating DOR may not draft rules without specific authority from the legislature. In Miami-Dade, which received and handled approximately 35,000 petitions in 2004, there are no requirements to file additional documents with a petition or prior to a hearing, and no reports of taxpayer complaints against agents.
